Modular Storage
Aluminium & Glass Wardrobes
An aluminium-frame wardrobe carcass doesn't warp, swell or feed termites — three things a humid Lucknow monsoon and a wood-carcass wardrobe eventually have to deal with. The shutters can still look like a wood-finish wardrobe from across the room; the difference is what's holding it together underneath.

What matters about this product
- Won't warp, crack or split.
- Aluminium doesn't move with humidity the way wood does, so doors and drawers keep closing flush years in.
- Immune to termites.
- No termite can eat an aluminium frame — a real consideration in this region, and one wood carcasses simply can't offer.
- Doesn't absorb moisture.
- No swelling or mould growth in a humid room or during monsoon, unlike a particle-board carcass in the same conditions.
- Lighter than an equivalent wood carcass.
- Easier to handle and install, and puts less load on the wall or floor fixing.
- Low maintenance.
- No repolishing, no repainting, no sealing — a wipe-down is the extent of the upkeep.
- Finish options across the shutter, not just the frame.
- Laminate, glass, lacquered or mirror shutters, so the aesthetic isn't limited by the aluminium underneath.
- Genuine scrap value.
- Aluminium retains resale/recycling value that a broken-down wood carcass does not.
- Upfront cost is comparable to good wood, not cheaper.
- The saving is in avoided repairs and replacement over years, not a lower price on day one — be upfront with the buyer about that.

Questions people actually ask
Is an aluminium wardrobe actually cheaper than wood?
Not upfront — the initial cost is typically comparable to a good plywood or engineered-wood wardrobe. The saving shows up over years, in avoided warping, termite damage and humidity swelling that a wood carcass in this climate eventually faces.
Does it look like a wood wardrobe?
It can — the shutters are finished in laminate, lacquer, glass or mirror, so the visible surface is a design choice independent of the aluminium frame underneath.
Will it feel different to close than a wood wardrobe?
Slightly — aluminium has a different sound and feel to a knock or a door close than wood's dampened response. Soft-close hinges and channels reduce this if it's a concern.
Is it really termite-proof?
The aluminium frame itself can't be eaten by termites. If the shutters use a wood-based board (MDF, particle board), that panel material follows normal wood rules — ask specifically about shutter material if termite resistance needs to extend to every part.
